Hydrochief was a portable hydraulic power pack – small engined unit in a skid frame with a hydraulic pump producing around 3000 psi to power a hydraulic breaker, etc. At Hunsbury I sold one (or something similar) once to the late Mike Ingamells and his brother John used it to recover “dead” hydraulic excavators. The one in the Hunsbury ad would have been traded in by the Ingersoll Rand division.
