MORE OF HERR GEVERS ITEMS, A SELECTION OF 35 TONNERS THROUGH THE AGES, AND A COUPLE OF WATERBOWSERS FROM ACROSS THE POND.

The trucks show the first true 35t rigid, the R-35S, B16TD or B17TD, followed by the 74TD, which morphed into the R-35B, and finally, post 1968/9, the R-35, as built and supplied when "Euclid" was owned by a succession of companies after being sold in the USA by The General.

P2P3Anybody spot the common denominator here, apart from Euc…..all loading with Poclains, a big hitter here and on the Continent in the 1960/70/80`s period…..

……and the 2 water carts….first based on an S-18 front end, and both built by Southwest, from California, which we think is still going, and fine looking animals they are too. The second one is a TS-14 front end, but carrying 6000 gallons, it would struggle a little with only one 4-71 doing the work !!
