MIDDLE 1980`S, AND ZETTELMEYER COME UP WITH THEIR SUSPENDED DRIVE 75C MODEL, BUILT TO TRAVLE OVER UNEVEN GROUND, WITH A FULL BUCKET, AND NOT SPILL OWT !!

Good theory, and one that came back years later with the Ride Control system from Peoria, and Volvo have a similar item, but Zettelmeyer were the first.

Price was a big factor in restricting the orders in UK, coupled with problems whenever the machine ran through deep slurry on its haulroad, as it was bound to do at times, and they were expensive to put right, so it never caught on really as it perhaps deserved to do.

An article by Blackie from B.H.News, again from Tony Nelmes`s memory files, describing the innovation as first seen at Hillhead that year.ZETT 1
