MANY, MANY YEARS AGO, IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY CALLED NORTHAMPTON, THE OLD, THE VERY OLD, AND EVEN SOME OLDER EX EMPLOYEES OF THAT FINE COMPANY, BLACKWOOD HODGE, HAD A REUNION, AND ONE OF THE ORGANISERS TOLD EVERYBODY THAT THE REPORT AND SOME OF THE FOTOS TAKEN WOULD BE ON THE BH MEMEORIES WEBSITE….VERY SOON !!

Well, as you all know, this hasn`t happened, until now. Well, it is starting now, and we are making (only) small inroads into publishing some of the items, but trying we are…..we cannot apologise enough for not having done so sooner, but things and work and things have got in the way, but we are now trying to catch up a little.

All we have for you today, is the list of attendees, the Memorial List that DT researched, and a foto or two of those present. The collection of over 300 images from the day we hope to have on a disc soon (we know, you`ve heard that before !!), and failing that, we will put the whole lot on here !!

List first…….

Reunion attendees

…..Memorial List….

Memorial

……..and some fotos……the group was of the employees there on the day who had reached or exceeded 30 years service with The Company, and who were presented with a Certificate to mark that milestone, there being 4 others who could not attend on the day for various reasons, Jack Johnson, Jack Hudson, Brian Burnip & Keith Masters#.

#With particular reference to Keith, we were in touch with him for a while in mid summer, then his telephone ceased to work, and we could not get back in touch with him, as we did not have his address unfortunately, and despite checking around with people that had spoken to him recently. So if anyone can put us back in touch, we have his Certificate, and would very much like to talk to him.#

Only just found this site (strange how BH stays with you) and have thoroughly enjoyed flipping through the pages. Shame I missed the reunion but it was nice to see photos of some of my old colleagues.
