Another batch of images handed over at The Reunion came from Gordon Bicknell, who never did give us his years of service, but they were mostly abroad, and these examples are of the main office in Lagos, Nigeria, we guess during the 1980`s.
The first one is of Gordon himself, on the right, with Gordon Greaves & Bill Murray…
…and then a series of shots from around the building and compund, showing off various machinery, and starting with that wonderful portico, which to any of you that have been there, looked more like the entrance to a smart London hotel….
A repair appliance from the Nigerian Airports Authority Fire service…….and lastly, a machine not seen often in our trawls through BH history……a Champion grader, albeit one under serious repair, but then again, weren`t they all !!
