ONCE MORE, MR LANSLEY`S ARCHIVES HAVE BEEN SIFTED, AND THREE SHOTS HAVE COME TO LIGHT FROM A CARNIVAL THE DATE OF WHICH WE ARE NOT SURE…THE THEME WAS "LADIES AT ASCOT", SO CAN ANYBODY PUT A NUMBER TO IT PLEASE ??

First a shot of a couple of "toffs" with a lady, Dennis Tidmarsh Esq and Ron Broughton Esq, with Mrs Betty Lansley….Carnival 1DT, RB, Betty

and then 2 images from The Drapery, one with Derek Rust driving the Company TK Bedford with the "actors" aboard….

Carnival 2, Drapery
….the long fellow in the topper walking alongside the truck could be Ken Snowdin, so if you are looking in Ken, let us know…and then what the kids all loved, a scraper on a lowloader, so they could throw their coins into the bowl…..ably escorted by who ??
Carnival 3, Drapery

Recognise anybody ??  We are not sure whether the guy with the glasses in the foreground is part of our scene, but the little fellow on the left of the shot, right of the lowloader is Jim Raby, and the other on the left of the cab, having a bad hair day by the look of it, is Big Kevin Ingram. We should mention of course Heanor Haulage  who carried so much of BH`s machinery around the country for so many years, and still continue to do it for others right upto this day.
