DURING THE LIGHTHOUSE CLUB LUNCH LAST DECEMBER, THE DISCUSSION WAS DRAWN TOWARDS THE OLD CORPORATE B.H. GOLF DAYS AT WOBURN, AND THAT WELL KNOWN BON VIVEUR AND HAMMER SALESMAN, ALAN MATCHETT THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO RESURRECT THE DAY OUT, ESPECIALLY AS IT COULD COINCIDE WITH THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SELL OUT TO THE SWEDE BASHERS.
So, with the assistance of Tony Freshwater and Martin Ede, the "Overstone Three" made the arrangements, and duly on October 14th last, the B.H. flag was set up on the first tee at Overstone, and the inaugural B.H. Golf Day got under way.
There now follows a selection of images from that day showing some of the attendees, and some shots that should not be viewed by anybody with a faint heart, that is if they know anything about golf, and we refer of course to Matcho`s tee shots.
Seriously though, it was an excellent day, and provisional arrangements have been made to repeat the match in Spring, with another next October, so if you didnt come this time, make sure you do next time.
Most of the photos are supplied by Martin Ede, with a few also from the aging used equipment salesman who also played.

and by no means least, Alan presenting Martin with the Blackwood Hodge Cup, which will be mounted professionally very soon and held by Martin for the period upto the next match……..
…..so the end of an excellent day, and many thanks to the Three for the organisation, and we look forward to reporting on the next match, come Springtime 2011.
