DURING THE PERIOD OF THE LATE 1980`S, UPTO TO CLOSURE IN 1990, HUNSBURY MACHINERY LIMITED PRODUCED A MONTHLY SALES MAGAZINE COVERING ALL THE EX-SITE, REPAIRED, AND OVERHAULED STOCK ITEMS WHICH WAS CIRCULATED THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY, OVERSEAS B.H. REGIONS, AND ALSO TO A CUSTOMER LIST.

Nigel Bailey, one of HML`s Sales Team of that era, recently spotted one of these issues on eBay, from February 1988, secured it, and we now reproduce some of it to further jog the memories of the ever ageing sales force that once earned good money from it !!

Firstly we have a view of front & back covers, showing the HML logo in use at that time, foisted on us by Mr Brierley of the BH advertising department, and memory serves that he also tried to get control of actually producing the mag as well, but fortunately, heels were dug in, and he gave up the fight !!HML 2-88 COVER

Next we have have a series of the pages, covering all aspects of the stock, from as is to overhauled….HML 2.-88 2
HML 2.-88 3
…some fine models here, not the least the R-50….cant have been many reps at BH who didn`t earn some, if not a lot of money from marketing that particular model, new & used….
HML 2.-88 4
….long gone loading shovels, and those quite useless early artics, the 32-04`s….

HML 2.-88 5
….TS-24 scrapers, seen only nowadays on some of Uncle Ted`s old power stations, at least in this country, but never to be found near a muckshift anymore….
HML 2.-88 6
….talking of Uncle Ted, the water bowser shot was taken on a power station demonstration, probably by Martin Ede…..
HML 2.-88 7
….and lastly, the HML team of that era, including Mr Bailey who was probably the "editor" of this particular publication .
