THE UNUSUAL TITLE FOR THIS EPISODE BECOMES QUICKLY APPARENT WHEN YOU REALISE THAT IT IS THE 1976 PRODUCTION OF THAT PARTICULAR PANTOMIME, PRODUCED BY A NAME WHO WILL PROBABLY BE BEST REMEMBERED IN B.H. FOR HIS FORAYS INTO THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD, ALBEIT THAT WORLD BEING LIMITED TO THE BLACKWOOD HODGE NEWS LETTERS OF THOSE TIMES, THOSE TIMES OF COURSE BEING 1976, A MERE 35 YEARS AGO, AND THAT NAME BEING JOE MILLER.
Joe turned up at this years Reunion in Northampton, but we are not sure whether anybody asked him if he was there to write another panto, or just to see if any of his old actors were still around, we think he must have been pleased to find that a number still were.
Although the panto season is historically after Christmas, to brighten up these dark December days and relatively dark times, we have decided to publish this, and the other two 1977 & 1978 spectaculars prior to the holidays, so here we go, the Berkeley Square Production of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, also A Eurovision Production by P.J.Livesey, Original Manuscript supplied by Martin Ede, and Executive Producer, Jo. E. Miller……..
PS: JUST FOR THE CRAIC, WE ARE REPRODUCING THE REST OF THE DECEMBER 1976 NEWS LETTER, SOON TO BE FOUND IN B.H.NEWS SECTION.
