BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, WE HAVE THE FOTOS, REPORTS & RESULTS FROM THIS YEARS B.H.GOLF DAY, HELD AS PREVIOUSLY, AT OVERSTONE GOLF CLUB.
On a (mostly) bright & breezy day, the 3rd Annual B.H. Golf Day took place. We were slightly down on numbers this year from last, mostly due to regular contestants picking out of season times for their holidays (most inconsiderate !!), and the usual crop injuries which do come with the (slightly) advanced age group of same contestants that we have become, but again, a good day was had by all, and yet another different winners name was added to the main trophy for the 3rd year running.
Those present included Ned Edwards, last years runner-up and odds-on favourite to win this year, Keith Brealey, odds on wooden spoon favourite, Keith Archbold, Keith Matthews, Tony Freshwater, Alan Matchett, and Martin Ede duly completed the mens section, whilst we had 2 ladies competing, Vera White (wife of Benny) and Lynn Freshwater, (wife of Tony), who provided a very competitive ladies section.

No images of the round are available, as the photographer had enough trouble keeping his clubs steady, no matter a camera, so we cut to the chase in the Clubhouse, during the awards ceremony, and the following meal.
Firstly, the winner of the BH Memories Cup, and for the first time a lady, Lynn Freshwater, seen here holding the Cup high whilst still able to support her grandchild….great multi-tasking that !!
Cant remember the runners up, but the Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive were dominated by the "Keiths", Archbold & Matthews respectively, and the team prize went to the ladies pair. 
Lastly a shot of Ned, looking genuinely surprised that he hadn`t won, and a general view of some of the revellers about to enjoy their scram.
We have already booked next years date, Friday October 11th, 2013, so all golfers, please dont book your holidays next year to clash with that or June 29th for that matter (3rd BH Reunion).
