ON A VERY RECENT VISIT TO THE CAPITAL, OUR MOST PROLIFIC CONTRIBUTOR FROM THE NORTH, JOHN COLVER, FOUND HIMSELF IN THE VICINITY OF BERKELEY SQUARE, AN AREA OF LONDON SO WELL KNOWN TO MANY HODGITES WHO WORKED IN THE LONG TIME HEAD OFFICE AT NUMBER 25.

Whilst gazing on the old Headquarters, John was surprised to see on the house next door, a green plaque, advising one and all who had lived in that house at one time.

Firstly, a shot of 25 to the left, with John off to the right as you look at it…..BerkeleySquare71
….close up of next door, number 24, see the plaque above John`s right shoulder….

….and now the plaque itself……Berkeley Sq73
….now there`s a thing. Johns message sent with the images.

Did anybody know that Bernard Sunley lived in that house. We dont remember anybody mentioning it before, but then again, we could have missed it.

If there is anybody out there who worked in 25 who can confirm or not that Mr Sunley lived at 24, and as we cant imagine that the City of Westminster Council would get it wrong, we assume it is correct, but please, let us know.

As John as discovered, the strangest thing about the plaque is that is does not appear on the C of W C list for such things, so maybe it has only very recently been mounted.
