WE HAVE MADE NUMEROUS APOLOGIES OVER THE YEARS FOR HAVING NOT PUBLISHED ARTICLES SENT IN VERY QUICKLY, AND THIS TIME IS NO EXCEPTION.
John Colver, that retired salesman, born again as detective and reporter, sent in the following in the middle days of 2011, and we have only now got around to publishing it……our sincerest apologies John, and we havent forgotten you either Eddie !!
Specifically for all those fans of twin power, and also for those remaining Technical Sales mob who still tune in, enjoy John`s trip to Ferrybridge Power Station via the accompanying prose & fotos.

Now we get to JC`s fotos, firstly FC14, a converted TS40C, now a waterbowser, around 43 years old….

…..and lastly, parked up in front of a big Michigan rubber tyred dozer, we have what we assume is FC1, serial number B10496, B4LOT, born a TS24 muckshifter in 1970, then converted by JBH to a TS24 40 cu yard coal hauler, and now currently modified to a 7000 gallon water bowser, and in her 44th year of service………………suck that one Mother Cat !!
