MANY OF THE FRANCHISES THAT BLACKWOOD HODGE HELD AROUND THE WORLD DIDNT ALWAYS RING IMMEDIATE BELLS WITH THE WORKFORCE BACK IN BRITAIN, WHICH DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY WERE NOT AS IMPORTANT AS THE ONES THAT WERE NEARER TO HOME, FAR FROM IT, IN THEIR OWN ENVIRONMENT, THEY MEANT AS MUCH TO THE INCOME OF B.H. WORLDWIDE AS THOSE MUCH NEARER.
One such franchise was the Timberjack agency, built in Canada, that B.H. held in Australia and other parts for 7 years, and its involvement and history are well documented below by Dan Martin, a many year devotee to Timberjack, and who made contact initially with the following……
…..well we replied to Dan, asking for more info and photos if he had them, and he duly obliged.
Not only has he sent coverage of the period that B.H. were the Dealers, but the whole of the history of the time that he was involved with Timberjack, along with some excellent images, so read on and absorb, as we will be asking questions at the Reunion in June on Timberjack !!

…….and now we get to the nitty gritty, Dan`s fascinatingly detailed history of Timberjack in his region, just seems a pity B.H. didnt hold onto it for a while longer, but one image first of that wonderful logo we all served, 1979 at Brisbane branch at Links Avenue Eagle Farm, with all the Aussie franchises on show ….note O&K as well !!
