THE AUTUMN LOCAL GATHERING AT THE THREE HORSESHOES, ECTON, NORTHANTS, TOOK PLACE LAST FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH, AND WAS ATTENDED BY 19 PERSONAGES OF THE B.H. PERSUASION.
They can be seen below posing on the pub terrace, but first we have a separate image of mine host, Steve Wheatman, outside the front door of his fine hostelry, see below…….
……and those posing are, left to right…..John James, Steve, Alan Matchett, Nev Harding, Ted Farmer, Idris Jenkins, Tony Nelmes, Brian Drage, Tony Freshwater, Malcolm Syme, Martin Ede, Nigel Bailey (partly hidden), Eddie Hopes, Dennis Tidmarsh, Keith Brealey, Peter Hardy, David Billingham, John Bailey & Kevin Ingram.
The last man on the right is journalist Ian Brown, who with others of his occupation, are planning to cast BH`s history to the masses through the portals of Classic Plant.
We will keep you advised of the progress of the tome, and fervently hope it is better than the last one that appeared in a similar periodical.
A good day was had, as expected, and thanks once again to Sandra Wheatman for yet another fine buffet provided for the troops.
