MUCH TOO LONG AGO NOW, STEVE WHEATMAN, EX BH TECH SALES, OFFERED UP SOME IMAGES THAT WE DONT THINK HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED BEFORE, BUT AFTER 8 YEARS NOW OF ADDING TO B.H.M., ITS GETTING DIFFICULT TO "RE-FIND" ANY ITEMS WE THINK MAY HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED EARLIER.
So without ado, we have decided to add these to the site, and you see them below……
……this one being the retirement of VERA BOULTWOOD, E.E.Farmer`s secretary with, from left to right, Alan Hadwin, Steve Wheatman, Martin Ede, Ted Farmer, and Alan Matchett.This has to be in the 1980`s, and it has to be said, with the obvious exception of dear Alan, Uncle Ted appears to be the one who has changed least to the present day !!
We have asked a few people who this is, no not Macho of course, the slightly Margot Leadbetter look-alike who seems to find whatever Alan is putting in his mouth, or the sign that he is making with his left hand, extremely amusing !!
If anybody can identify this obviously young female person, please let us know. Image taken in the "Palace of Varieties" as you can see, sometime in the 80`s.
Lastly, what series of Tech Sales images would be complete without the sight of "Hadders" doing his thing on some opencast mine, complete with the almost ever present fag. All thats lacking of what we fondly remember of Alan is a pint of good beer, so wherever he is now, lets hope it isnt far from a decent pub !!
