In late 2019, we received some great images supplied by Iain Milne, now a £10 Pom (!!), but then a long time employee of Tarmac Construction, showing mostly the then two new TS24 Loadrunners, bought by John Tull from Peter Goodley in the very late 1980`s.

Well Iain sent a load more fotos over in 2020, which in our usual fashion, we are only just getting around to publishing.

As you would expect, the predominant machine on view is the TS24, Tarmac`s main muckshifter for years, both B9LOT`s and B10LOT`s, working on three UK sites.

The sites concerned described by Iain are below….do any of you lot remember these contracts ??

"A380 Torquay. Monk was main Contractor but we did the muck shift, 8 x TS24 including 2 of the TS24C units, D400,s, 235-245, D9N`s, Iain took a punt at around 1989-90………..
